IN CONVERSATION|VICTOR NDIGWE
Name|Victor Ndigwe
Age|19
Hometown|Lagos, Nigeria
How did you get discovered?
I got discovered by a model back home at Lagos. I didn't take modeling too seriously until the Elite Model Look contest.
What were you doing prior to modeling?
I was doing music, sports and acting. I still do when I am not modeling. I am also going to school as well.
People would be surprised to know that I...
I don't really like ham & cheese. (laughs). There's nothing mystifying about me really.
What's your latest obsession?
I'll say vintage clothes. In love with them!
Your most prize possession?
I am not really materialistic but there is this shirt my father gave me. It's three years old. I won't give away for a million dollars!
Growing up, who did you look up to as your hero?
That will be my mother. She is strongest person I know in life. I learnt everything from her and I don't know what I would have done without her besides me. She is my Superwoman!
When is the last time you said, "I Love You" to someone?
This morning. Don't ask me who though, I am not telling. (laughs).
Three adjectives that best describes you:
Fun, Spontaneous and Determine
Describe your personal style:
I can wear anything as long as I am comfortable and it looks good on me.
Your favorite place you have travel to:
Brazil. Main attraction, the Bikini Bodies (laughs). I mean it's a beautiful place with beautiful people. I'll love to go there. I still love Paris though I still can't get enough of Brazil.
Your favorite film and scene from the film:
The Great Gatsby—Scene: I love this movie! I love the scene where he told his friend to sell him a pen. And where the cops came to see him on his yatch and he said "I'm sure you don't like me but I'm 100% sure I don't care."
Your favorite sport:
Sport: Football, handball, basketball, table tennis, swimming, running, chess and Scrabble etc.
If there's a destination or item you would recommend us to check out or visit about your native country/city or town, what would you recommend?
Lagos, Nigeria—Well, I'll say go to the Eastern Part because that's where I'm from. The food, the culturaldances, the people, the native music, there's a lot to see. Or just go to Lagos, there's no party like a Lagos party. I have other options though. You can ask me after the interview, if you are interested. (laughs)
If you were given a indie cable show, what type of show would it be? Which song would you choose as your theme song?
My show will be called Culture Shock. I love knowing about other people's culture and how different it is from mine. Theme song: Beautiful People by Chris Brown
Favorite moment in modeling:
This is my first season modeling. I am very happy to say I did 8 SS2016 shows from Haider, Kenzo to Hermes. I loved them all!
Your wish for the remainder of 2015?
Friends be in good health
Clothing: Bare chested photo: trouser by Laurence Airline; harness by Phylea; tracksuit by Faith Connexion; hoodie by Andrea Crews
