IN CONVERSATION|STEPHEN STAEHLE

Name|Stephen Staehle
Age|18
Hometown|Pottstown, Pennsylvania

How did you get discovered?
Joseph Matthews, Founder of Streamline Model Management contacting me on Instagram. Having him as my mother agent is helping things take off quicker than I ever imagined. Forever thankful for him opening my eyes to this world and guiding me along the way.
What were you doing prior to modeling?
Before modeling, I was going to a community college majoring in business management and working at retail for Neiman Marcus' Last Call.
People would be surprised to know that I...
used to be a hugh skater kid. Everyday when I got home from school, I would set out and push wood with the homies. Those were the carefree days I will never forget.
What's your latest obsession?
Music is something I've been missing out on for too long. Slowly I am getting more into it and now I know why people love music. Kid Cudi, Frank Ocean, Kanye West, G-Easy and Drake, of course, are some of my favorites right now. I plan to go to my first concert sometime within the next year!
Your most prize possession?
I was given a beanie baby bear in 1st grade from one of my favorite teachers, Mrs. Kochel. It means a lot to me because it represents someone who I will always love. He watches over me everyday.
Growing up, who did you look up to as your hero?
Elon Musk!  That guy is amazing! Talk about turning ideas into reality and that guy is all over it. He will put a man on Mars!
When is the last time you said, "I Love You" to someone?
My worried mom who is excited for me to be in NYC called me to amke sure everything was cool! Love her!
Three adjectives that best describes you:
Determined, Fun, Real
Describe your personal style:
Anywhere from frat boy, streetwear, business casual or bummin it in sweats. I love to switch it up all the time. My Go-To outfit would be in the Fall/Winter being a button-down with a pullover with jeans and boots. Once it is cold enough throw on a jacket and scarf.
Your favorite place you have travel to:
New York City! Never been until I started modeling and I love it!
Your favorite film and scene from the film:
The Wolf of Wall Street—Scene: No particular scene, the whole movie is always a good three hour spent!
Your favorite sport:
Sport: Football
Team: Philadelphia Eagles—No matter how mad they made me I always end up tuning into their games. Let's see how Carson Wentz does when given the opportunity.
If there's a destination or item you would recommend us to check out or visit about your native country/city or town, what would you recommend?
Pottstown, Pennsylvania—Philadelphia Premium Outlets because I've worked there my whole life and it's one of the few fun things to do in my hometown.
If you were given a indie cable show, what type of show would it be? Which song would you choose as your theme song?
Type of show: Something fun but competitive like American Ninja Warrior or Wipeout. You can get a nice laugh in but it is still serious.
Theme song: I Got The Keys by DJ Khaled
Craziest thing you ever done:
On the coldest night of the year in 2014, me and some buddies ran into a dilemma and had to walk two miles to our friend's house in over a foot of snow. It was insane and I was never that cold in my entire life. My face practically froze over and it took a while to warm up once we got to safety. LOL!
Your wish for the remainder of 2016?
Have some beginners luck with my modeling career and continue to meet amazing people.
